 July 1, 2009 - Starting rudder assembly. Making first cut on first part of the airplane. |
 Rudder assembled with clecos (temporary fasteners). |
 Final riveting of rudder. |
 July 4, 2009 - Rudder completed. First component of the airplane. |
 Internal structure of horizontal stabilizer. |
 Wrapping skin on stabilizer. |
 July 15, 2009 - Horizontal stabilizer completed. |
 Working on elevator. |
 Testing and calibrating electric elevator trim control. |
 Grandson, Jordan, fascinated by riveting process. |
 July 26, 2009 - Elevator completed and connected to stabilizer with clecos. Tail section
now complete. Total rivets used to date = 1035.
